Day 1 at the Gorge, Dave Matthews Band Concert

We painted this piece live on the first show day of Dave Matthews Band 25th anniversary concert at the Gorge. We set up at the top of the lawn and painted for the afternoon until the sun went down. This was our first Gorge DMB experience, and everyone told us that the panoramic views will take our breath away the first time we see them, and they certainly did!

Even though it rained the first night as we arrived at the campground, the concert day turned into a perfect sunny afternoon, which made for an amazing painting session. Once the venue filled up with people and the sun wend down, everyone (including us) were buzzing with excitement.
