Lovers in a dangerous time

Hello dear friends,

It’s been a wild ride over the last few weeks. In February, Bill and I were very lucky enough to sneak in our wedding in Australia right before the coronavirus hit the fan and cancelled all gatherings around the world. We could not be more grateful.

Now, so many wedding and event plans have been disrupted, and we cannot imagine the heartbreak of having to cancel or postpone your wedding. Having recently gone through the process of planning and organizing a wedding overseas, guest travel, vendors, etc. we know how much work it is, and no one wants to have to do it twice.

What will get us through this are positivity and communities coming together.

That is exactly what the wedding industry is doing at the moment. We are seeing lots of wedding professionals offering help, offering advice, and generally trying to take care of their couples.

One thing we learned over the years, is that your wedding planners and vendors have your back. They deal with changes and manage crises’ all the time, and still make sure that your wedding day is magic.

You have options whether you are thinking of postponing until next year, or going ahead with a micro wedding later in the season. We highly recommend you check out the blog by Filosophi Wedding Planning, which is loaded with solid advice on what to do in this uncertain time.

All you have to remember is that one thing is certain, and that is your love and commitment to each other. The rest will fall into place.

Sending you all our love,

Olga and Bill
